Michigan is a "no-fault" State regarding auto accidents. If you are in a car accident, regardless of who was at fault for causing the accident, an injured person is entitled to recover certain benefits. These "no-fault benefits include allowable medical and rehabilitation expenses for life, wage loss benefits for a three-year period, replacement service expenses for a three-year period, and survivor’s loss benefits for a three-year period when an accident results in death.
